We have one e-mail list for each of our pickup days. We do NOT automatically add our members to our e-mail lists as we feel that subscribing to any e-mail list is a personal decision. However, we strongly recommend that, as a CSA member, you join the e-mail list of your pickup day because it is our most effective way to communicate with you.
Our weekly e-mails not only only remind you to pick up your share, but also:
- include links to the weekly harvests and newsletters,
- announce special pickup day events (cooking demos, wheat milling, etc.)
- tell you of availability of specific products (eggs, cheese shares, meat shares, etc.),
- remind you when it’s time to renew your subscription (the renewal window is short and easy to miss),
- alert you of urgent communications.
Aside from urgent communications, we only post once a week on each e-mail list, on the day of or prior to the pickup.
Note that our e-mail lists are self-managed. We do not have the resources to respond to individual requests for being added, removed, edited or switched. You are in charge of that. However, if you’re unable to do it yourself, let us know and we’ll be happy to do it for you.
