Working at the farm is not required from our members. However, we do need volunteers at our pickup location. Volunteers may elect to receive credit for a free weekly share for every three hours of work.
We tend to have a stable volunteer crew and new volunteering opportunities are infrequent. However, we do occasionally need subs. If you are interested in being part of our pool of volunteers/subs, please come introduce yourself at the CSA during pickup hours (ask for Sara or Philippe).
Volunteering duties include:
1. Unloading and set up: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 2:00 – 3:30 pm. Required: strength.
2. Staffing the produce line: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Required: knowledge of local produce and how to use them; communication skills.
3. Front desk: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Required: adding skills; communication skills.
4. Backstage: Tuesdays or Wednesdays 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Required: organisation skills.
