Roasting chiles

Brush each chile with oil and place on a cookie sheet. Place about 3″ under broiler. Broil until chiles are slightly scorched. Turn chiles over and repeat process. Takes about 3 to 4 minutes for each side. Place chiles in freezer 3 hrs. Remove and pull skin from flesh of chiles. Remove seeds and membranes. Use with any recipe calling for roasted green chiles.
