Smoky Fresh Tomato Salsa

Add fresh grilled or steamed corn to salsa for a color sweet addition.
5 medium tomatoes, chopped
1/2 jalapano, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoon chipotle paste from canned chipotle peppers
1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
In a medium mixing, combine all ingredients. Adjust seasonings with additional chili powder, salt and pepper. If you like hot salsa add extra jalapeno.
