Seasoned Ice Cubes

Save the leftover fresh herbs and spices (hot chiles) for future use! Place chopped herbs into ice cube trays, cover with water, and freeze. Be sure to cover the herbs completely with water to protect them from air and freezer damage. When frozen, pop the cubes out into labeled baggies and store in freezer for use in drinks or recipes that you can pop the whole cube, water and all, into.
